Three reds, three characters 

One cellar master, three distinct styles. Each wine in this hamper comes from the same lagoon-side vineyards in Walker Bay, South Africa. 

Our Cabernet Sauvignon (cab sav) grows on vines that face the Bot River Lagoon. It offers dark fruit, violets and a touch of strawberry jam, layered with French oak and held together by neat tannins. 

The Syrah ripens slowly on the same cool slopes. It opens with plum, liquorice and rose petal, builds into bold blueberry fruit, and closes with a note of cocoa. 

Collage is our Bordeaux blend, built from five cultivars led by Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. Cherry, raspberry and fynbos meet cigar leaf and pencil shavings for a wine with real depth. 

One cellar master, one philosophy 

Johann Fourie has made every wine in this hamper on the same stretch of land, on the shores of the Bot River Lagoon. His approach stays consistent across the range: let the fruit and the site do the talking, and don't let the winery get in the way. 

On the Cabernet Sauvignon, he points to its natural affinity with the Walker Bay climate, the same cool conditions that built the variety's reputation in Bordeaux. On the Syrah, his approach is a light touch in the cellar, so the terroir comes through rather than the oak. Collage, the estate's Bordeaux blend, took a seven-stage selection process across five grape varieties to reach a wine he describes as complete to all the senses. 

That's the difference between a hamper assembled from a supplier list and three wines shaped by one winemaker's hand, from vine to bottle.
